I don’t mean to burst the bubble of your good-intentioned idea, but the functionality you are demanding is already embedded in the google maps interface. All you have to do is check the “avoid highways” box, and what you have then are essentially bike-friendly directions. I’m not quite sure what more you are asking for.
I suppose so, but in the meantime, you can use their suggestion as a guideline, and make adjustments yourself as you ride. That’s part of the adventure aspect of riding.
